I was born in 1960 in Cavalese, a beautiful small town in the Italian Alps, of which I am very proud. I have lived in Cavalese until 1968, in the nearby town of Trento until 1979, and in Pisa since then (actually, I now live in Agnano, a very nice village on the hills north of Pisa).
My favourite hobbies are jazz music, simply the greatest music ever appeared on Earth, and outdoor sports, among which my favourite ones are ski-mountaineering, rock climbing, winter climbing, mountain biking, sailing, cross-country skiing, downhill skiing. Although you have probably met better cooks than I am, one of my recipes appears in the Official soc.culture.italian Cookbook. Match that!
